We have expert bankruptcy lawyers available to advise members of the Association on all legal aspects of bankruptcy. This service has successfully dealt with many complex cases and has proved to be an invaluable asset for our members. The complexity of bankruptcy law and its many nuances, combined with the inept tinkering of our bankruptcy system’s legal framework by under qualified, unimaginative civil servants and politicians mean that it is very difficult to obtain sound advice on many legal aspects of bankruptcy. All this combined with the fact that a bankrupt person will find it virtually impossible to obtain legal aid to pay for such advice means that the majority of people are simply denied access to sound legal advice.
Carrick Read Insolvency
The Bankruptcy Association has for many years had links with Carrick Read Insolvency. Carrick Read are aware of the inequity in our legal aid system and support the aims of the Bankruptcy Association. To this end they provide our members with access to a written legal opinion service and have done so for many years for only a token fee payment. Given the calibre of the lawyers involved and the excellent advice obtained this is an important and indispensible service for both the Association and our members.
Available to Current Association Members
This service is available through the Bankruptcy Association and to current Association members. Carrick Read Insolvency will provide any current member of the Association with a detailed, written opinion on any difficult legal issue that is beyond the scope of the Association to deal with.
